what if.....

Our friends and family know that we love being "on call" for any of their medical concerns. Some people call us more than others....some not at all. But we love what we do...and that's what we're here for! (Seriously....what good does all of this schooling and training do us if we can't help our friends and family.)
That being said....we get some pretty random questions and I thought that this comic was appropriate. (My sister is usually convinced that she needs every drug that she sees on the commercials....even if she doesn't have the illness. Once she asked me for Alzheimer's medication. Seriously.)

And because everyone loves a good ER story here are two cases I've had recently:
1--"Smoked pot and now I feel numb." (~ironically I thought that was the point?!?!?!)
2--"I lost a watch battery at home and cannot find it. Can you please x-ray my 2-year-old, 4-year-old, and 6-year-old to see if they ate it?"
